Product Overview
The Power Plant Hydrostatic Test Isolation Valve is a specialized device designed for static hydrostatic testing in power plants. It is installed on steam pipelines at the boiler superheater outlet and the reheater inlet/outlet.
This valve allows for seamless transitions between testing and operation. During hydrostatic testing, internal components—such as the blanking plate and support plate—are installed to provide an effective seal. Once the testing is complete, these components are removed and replaced with a flow guide sleeve, allowing the pipeline to resume normal operation. This modular design facilitates easy reconfiguration whenever subsequent hydrostatic tests are required.

Optimized Connection and Flow: The valve utilizes butt-weld connections and a full-bore, straight-through passage design, eliminating necking to ensure unobstructed flow.

High-Performance Sealing: The design features a single-sided flat seal, with the valve body sealing surface reinforced by hard-faced austenitic stainless steel. The blanking plate is further equipped with an O-ring rubber seal to ensure integrity.

Pressure Self-Tightening Mechanism: The bonnet cavity features a pressure self-tightening structure. During both hydrostatic testing and normal operation, the system medium pressure automatically compresses the sealing ring. This design ensures that sealing becomes more reliable as the internal pressure increases.

Durable Construction: The valve body is manufactured from high-quality cast steel, designed for demanding industrial environments. Both ends are precision-machined with U-type bevels, allowing for direct butt-welding to matching pipes.
